Apartment fire

This is a residential fire occurred in an apartment in Louisville, Kentucky. The cause of the fire is unknown but it appears to have started in the kitchen and caused serious smoke damage to the entire apartment.  The before picture is of the bedroom and you can see the soot damage to the walls, furniture, flooring and mattress box spring.  The after picture shows a SERVPRO of Floyd County employee wearing a respirator mask and he is removing drywall that was affected by the fire.  The rest of the contents were also removed from the room and sent to our warehouse to see what could be cleaned and restored.
