Flash Flooding

Heavy rains came out of nowhere and didn’t stop until the next day I Floyd County, Indiana. This flash flood was a real concern for a particular customer since they have had a small issue once in their basement. Because of this damage the first time the customer decided to upgrade their sump pump.  Unfortunately, during this heavy rain it failed. The customer ended up with a couple of inches of standing water in their basement. The first call was to their insurance agent who asked them to reach out to SERVPRO of Floyd County.  SERVPRO was quick to come out and extract all of the standing water in the basement. We then dried out the rest of the area and did all the repairs. It was a huge relief to use a company that could handle the entire project because this customer was in the process of selling their home.  SERVPRO had the basement looking even better than it did before and the customer was very happy they called us!
